Hi Rakesh,
Thank you for your wonderful articles! I noticed that you recommend that one takes the herbs mentioned above with milk. I was wondering what your stance is on milk. As a holistic nutritionist, we are taught that milk is ‘bad’, more specifically, it is mucous forming and many don’t have the enzymes to digest. Do you agree? Or do you think that anti-dairy or is this overhyped? Thank you for your time.
Victoria: For most people milk is fine. However, if you have “Kapha” constitution of “Kapha” aggravation, you want to avoid milk. Check out other articles to find your body constitution. In the case of anxiety, milk becomes excellent source of giving heaviness and grounding effect. Our culture is riddled with misinformation on which diet and foods to take and that inadvertently contributes to our anxiety. Hope this helps. Be Well! Rakesh
